Kevin Johnson Rodriguez

Kevin Johnson Rodriguez serves as a Program Assistant/Recruiter for the Mississippi Migrant Education Service Center at Mississippi State University. He joined the program in September 2026 and supports identification and recruitment efforts throughout Region II in northeastern Mississippi. In his role, he works closely with agricultural workers, families, school districts, and community partners to identify children and out-of-school youth who may qualify for the Migrant Education Program. He is committed to helping eligible students access educational resources and services that support their academic success.

Originally from Honduras, he is bilingual in English and Spanish. He earned an Associate of Arts degree in Computer Science from Northwest Mississippi Community College and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages with a concentration in Spanish at Mississippi State University. He enjoys connecting with people from different backgrounds and values the opportunity to use his language skills to make a positive difference in his community.
